The Bhishma Stuti is a set of exalted prayers offered by Bhishmadeva in Srimad Bhagavatam as he lies on the bed of arrows, beholding the divine presence of Lord Krishna at the moment of his departure. These verses are revered for their profound devotion and deep realization of Krishna’s supreme position. Bhishmadeva glorifies Krishna as the Supreme Personality of Godhead, beyond material existence, the protector of devotees, and the ultimate object of meditation.

This seven-day spiritual festival will focus on the heart-touching prayers of Bhismadeva, one of the greatest warriors and devotees from the Mahabharata. As he lay on his bed of arrows, Bhismadeva imparted timeless wisdom to King Yudhishthira and meditated on Lord Krishna in His divine form. His prayers are a treasure trove of devotion, surrender, and realization of life’s ultimate goal.
Learn from HG Gauranga Darshan Das – We are blessed to have HG Gauranga Darshan Das, a renowned spiritual teacher, scholar, and author, as our guest speaker. He has dedicated his life to simplifying Vedic teachings and guiding seekers on the path of bhakti-yoga. His insightful discourses will make Bhismadeva’s prayers accessible and relatable to modern-day devotees, helping us apply these divine teachings in our own lives.
Gauranga Darshan Prabhu is a disciple of HH Radhanath Swami & holds a Master’s degree in Systems Science and Automation from the reputed Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore. He is an educator and author of over 35 books. He is the Dean of the Bhaktivedanta Vidyapitha at ISKCON Govardhan Ecovillage (GEV), outside Mumbai. He has delivered over 7500 hours of spiritual discourses in different forums including ashrams, schools, colleges like IITs and NITs, corporate events and platforms like TEDx, Intel, TechMahindra, Alstom, DRDO, ISRO and so on.
